February 26 Recruitment Event for Interested Volunteers

RENO, Nev. (February 10, 2015) – To put on the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West” it takes more than 500 dedicated volunteers who represent the heart of the Reno Rodeo. These volunteers, or Wranglers, help the Reno Rodeo produce the area’s longest-running, biggest, annual professional sports event.

Those 21 years of age or older who are interested in learning more about what it takes to become a 2015 Reno Rodeo Wrangler are invited to a recruitment event in the South Exhibit Hall of the Reno Livestock Events Center, February 26, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Rodeo executives and hear from various committee chairs to learn about volunteer opportunities. There will be a short presentation, door prizes and refreshments.

Those interested can also find additional information and the online volunteer application at www.renorodeo.com under the Get Involved tab. The application deadline for the 2015 Reno Rodeo is Friday, April 24. Becoming a Wrangler is the first step in becoming a member of the Reno Rodeo Association.

The Reno Livestock Events Center is located at 1350 North Wells Avenue, Reno, NV 89512. Further questions about the recruiting event and becoming a wrangler can be emailed to [email protected].
