Visiting Royalty

Thank you so much for your interest in participating in the 2024 Reno Rodeo as visiting royalty!

Visiting Royalty at Reno Rodeo is a long-standing tradition, and we are looking forward to helping make the experience special for each queen. Beyond the rodeo performances, there are many events taking place that we are excited to share with you along with the legacy of Reno Rodeo. Let’s rub some dirt on it!

We ask that you complete the application and wait for approval BEFORE making arrangements. Please see the information below for more details.

There are 3 different session dates available for visiting royalty. Visiting royalty are only to attend one session. Please be sure to indicate your 1^st and 2^nd choice of session dates that you’d like to attend.

VISITING ROYALTY APPLICATIONS DUE APRIL 5, 2024

STATE QUEENS – State queen applications will be considered before all other visiting royalty requests.

State Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of the 3 sessions. (Please indicate if you will not attend all 3 days). Host homes or discounted hotel rooms MAY be available for state queens. State queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. There will be transportation to any excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session. Please complete the application below and a representative from our committee will contact you to complete arrangements.

6 PACK RODEO QUEENS

6 Pack Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of our 3 sessions. (Please indicate if you will not attend all 3 days). Discounted hotel rooms MAY be available for 6 Pack Rodeo Queens 6 Pack Rodeo Queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. If there is space available, 6 Pack Rodeo Queens are welcome attend excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session. Depending on space, 6 Pack Rodeo Queens may have to provide their own transportation during excursions and/or activities. Please complete the application below and a representative from our committee will contact you to complete arrangements.

OTHER PRCA RODEO QUEENS

PRCA Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of the 3 sessions. (Please indicated if you will not attend all 3 days). Discounted hotel rooms MAY be available for PRCA Rodeo Queens PRCA Rodeo Queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. If there is space available, PRCA Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session. Depending on space, PRCA Rodeo Queens may have to provide their own transportation during excursions and/or activities. Please complete the application below and a representative from our committee will contact you to complete arrangements.

OTHER RODEO QUEENS (18 and Older)

Other Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo anytime during our 10-day event with approved application and agreed upon dates (max of 1 day). Please complete the application below and a representative from our committee will contact you to complete arrangements.

UNDER 18 QUEENS AND PRINCESSES

Princesses and Rodeo Queens under the age of 18 are welcome to attend as spectators to the Reno Rodeo. We would love for you to join us for the post-performance autograph party.

AVAILABLE 2024 SESSIONS FOR STATE TITLE HOLDERS, 6 PACK, AND PRCA RODEO QUEENS:

We are offering 3 sessions to make the date selections easier on both you and our committee. Please indicate your 1^st and 2^nd session choice when completing your application.

SESSION 1: Friday, June 21 – Sunday, June 23, 2024

Obligations for state queens: Attend Sponsor Tent for Dinner Meal prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance, Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance, Post-Performance Autograph Session in the Arena, Help with Kids’ Day and Special Kids Rodeo on June 23.

Obligations for other invited queens: Possible meet and greet booth prior to rodeo performance, help with Mutton Bustin’ as needed, autograph session after rodeo, help with Kids’ Day and Special Kids Rodeo on June 23.

Daily Optional Activities/Excursions:

Friday: Get settled, if early enough can drive to Lake Tahoe, shop the many vendors at the rodeo grounds, watch the Mounted Drill Team competition on grounds, (a detailed list of “to do” ideas will follow).
Saturday: State Queen Excursion to Virginia City. (More Details of Excursion to follow).
Sunday: Kids’ Day and Special Kids Rodeo (not an optional activity)

SESSION 2: Monday, June 24 – Wednesday, June 26, 2024

Obligations for state queens: Attend Sponsor Tent for Dinner Meal prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance, Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance, Post-Performance Autograph Session in the Arena

Daily Optional Activities/Excursions:

Monday: Get settled, if early enough can drive to Lake Tahoe, shop the many vendors at the rodeo grounds, watch invitational roping on grounds, (a detailed list of “to do” ideas will follow).
Tuesday: State Queen Excursion to Virginia City. (More Details of Excursion to follow).
Wednesday: Activity in Reno – more details to follow.

SESSION 3: Thursday, June 27 – Saturday, June 29, 2024

Daily Optional Activities/Excursions:
