Visiting Royalty
PLEASE READ this document in its entirety so there are no surprises when applying for or visiting the 2026 Reno Rodeo.
Visiting Royalty at Reno Rodeo is a long-standing tradition, and we are looking forward to helping make the experience special for each queen. Beyond the rodeo performances, there are many events taking place on the grounds, and we are excited to share the full Reno Rodeo experience with you.
We ask that you complete the application and WAIT FOR APPROVAL BEFORE MAKING ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. Please see the information below for more details.
There are 3 different session dates available for visiting royalty. Visiting royalty will only attend one session. Please be sure to indicate your 1st and 2nd choice of session dates that you’d like to attend.
There are 9-10 spots for visiting PRCA state royalty available during each session.
VISITING ROYALTY APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 24, 2026.
STATE PRCA QUEENS – State queen requests for specific sessions will be considered before all other visiting royalty requests.
State Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of the 3 sessions. Discounted hotel rooms will be available with a maximum of 4 people per room (2 queen beds). Please indicate in your application if you’d like a discounted hotel room.
State queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. There will be transportation to any excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session.

PRCA RODEO QUEENS (18 and Older)
PRCA Rodeo Queens are welcome to fill out the visiting royalty application for the 2026 Reno Rodeo for any one of our 3 sessions.
After the April 24 application deadline and all PRCA state queens have been assigned a session, you will be contacted for an invitation to the 2026 Reno Rodeo as visiting royalty.
Discounted hotel rooms will be available with a maximum of 4 people per room (2 queen beds). Invited PRCA Rodeo Queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. Invited PRCA Rodeo Queens will attend excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session.
OTHER RODEO QUEENS (18 and Older)
Other Rodeo Queens that represent a recognized rodeo association are welcome to fill out an application for the 2026 Reno Rodeo. Your application will be reviewed and approved on an invitation only basis. All PRCA state queens, PRCA queens, and queens who have no attended the Reno Rodeo as visiting royalty will be considered first. If invited to attend the 2026 Reno Rodeo, it is expected that you will attend all excursions and/or activities offered for visiting queens during each session.

UNDER 18 QUEENS AND PRINCESSES
Princesses and Rodeo Queens under the age of 18 are welcome to attend as spectators to the 2026 Reno Rodeo. Tickets can be purchased through www.renorodeo.com. Underage queens and princesses are welcome to join for the post-performance autograph party. If you are interested in doing so, please contact Amy Callahan at (775) 772-4722 to make arrangements before showing up for the autograph party.
AVAILABLE 2026 RENO RODEO SESSIONS:
We are offering 3 sessions. To make the date selections easier on both you and our committee, **Please indicate your 1st and 2nd session choice when completing your application.
SESSION 1:
Friday, June 19 – Sunday, June 21
Obligations:
- Attend dinner prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance
- Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance
- Post-Performance autograph session in the arena each night, -Help with Rodeo 101 Kids’ Camp (Sat, June 20)
- Help with Kids’ Day and Special Kids Rodeo (Sun, June 21)
*State Title Holders may be invited to be a part of the Reno Rodeo media experience.
SESSION 2
Monday, June 22 – Wednesday, June 24
Obligations:
- Attend dinner prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance
- Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance
- Post-Performance Autograph Session in the Arena
- Excursion to Virginia City
- Hands-on Leather Tooling with local leather artist
*State Title Holders may be invited to be a part of the Reno Rodeo media experience.
SESSION 3
Thursday, June 25 – Saturday, June 27
Obligations:
- Attend dinner prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance
- Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance
- Post-Performance Autograph Session in the Arena
- Excursion to Virginia City
- Hands-on Leather Tooling with local leather artist
