NEVADA STATE FAIRGROUNDS
The Nevada State Fairgrounds is more than just a livestock and rodeo venue. Formerly known as the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center (RSLEC), the Fairgrounds hosts a wide range of events year-round, from prestigious equine competitions and the nationally ranked Reno Rodeo to youth and collegiate sporting events, motocross, and national monster truck shows.
The venue also welcomes a diverse lineup of consumer and community events, including antique expos, craft fairs, train and car shows, RV and boat sales, and more. With flexible event space and a long-standing reputation for hosting large-scale gatherings, the Nevada State Fairgrounds is built to accommodate far more than four-legged competitors.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Located on 43 acres just minutes from downtown Reno, the Nevada State Fairgrounds offers convenient access to thousands of nearby hotel rooms and is only 10 minutes from Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The property includes two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, 3,100 paved and lighted parking spaces, and 660 10-by-12-foot animal stalls.
The climate-controlled main arena seats 6,200 guests and features three show offices along with a 150-by-300-foot dirt-floor arena designed for large-scale events and competitions. Connected by tunnel, the Livestock Pavilion includes a 1,000-seat arena and auction space, a 100-by-125-foot covered cutting arena, and a 90-by-200-foot outdoor arena.
Perched above the main arena, Doc Bar serves as the venue’s VIP lounge, offering space for up to 250 guests along with a private office, restrooms, and optional partial or full catering services to enhance any event experience. Please note: Doc Bar is not ADA accessible and requires stair access.
The indoor rodeo arena, recognized worldwide as the home of the Reno Rodeo, features 9,491 seats, premium viewing suites, and a 325-by-170-foot dirt-floor arena that has been showcased to millions of viewers on television broadcasts around the globe.
For livestock and equestrian events, the Fairgrounds also offers 19 on-site barns, horse wash racks, 216 multi-use stalls, and 266 exhibitor truck and trailer spaces, providing the infrastructure needed to support events of all sizes.
RV PARKING
The Fairgrounds offer RV parking for event participants. There are 67 full RV hookup sites and 42 partial RV spaces. Those staying onsite also have access to a wash rack, restroom and showers, as well as a dump station that is free to use.

FAQs
How much is parking?
At most ticketed events the cost is $10 per space / per day. Parking is cashless. Payment type accepted: credit card, debit card, Apple or Google Pay.

Do you accept overnight horse stalling/haul-ins?
Yes, depending on our event schedule. You can call (775) 232-2971 to ask about overnight haul-ins.
What forms of payment are accepted at concession stands?
Concession stands at the Nevada State Fairgrounds accept cash, credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Where can I buy tickets for an event?
If a ticketed event is taking place at the Nevada State Fairgrounds, tickets can be purchased at the ticket window by the main entrance of the facility. Some events, such as Monster Jam, also sell tickets through Ticketmaster.
Where can I buy Reno Rodeo tickets?
Reno Rodeo tickets can be purchased on renorodeo.com or in person at the Reno Rodeo Ticket Office located at Gate #6 off Sutro and 9th Streets (on the west side of the Rodeo Office). For more information, please call (775) 329-3877.

Is the facility handicap accessible?
The Main Arena has a ramp at the west center doors that can access the concourse level, as well as a ramp at the back of the arena. There is handicap seating with rails on both the North and South sides. The Livestock Pavilion is accessible through the front and back doors. The Livestock Pavilion has handicap access with a removable ramp that allows access to the Main Arena floor through the LP tunnel. The Northeast and Southeast tunnels can also be used for handicap access, however there are no handrails in either of these tunnels. Additionally, there is a handicap ramp on the Northwest side of Grandstand #3 in the Rodeo Arena with handrails. There are 2 handicapped seating sections in the Rodeo Arena as well; 1 on the Northeast side and 1 on the South side. There are 42 handicapped parking spaces available on property.
What is your bag policy?
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to; duffle bags, weapons, cans, bottles, food, wallet chains, professional video/audio recording equipment (GoPro’s, tripods, camera bags, etc.), fireworks, laser pens/glow sticks, iPads, coolers.
Exceptions – sports bags for athletic event participants & coaches, technical equipment for Conventions & Trade shows, and diaper bags accompanied by the infant (1 bag per infant).
NO storage of prohibited items will be allowed on the premises.
