RENO, Nev. (Nov. 1, 2023) – The Reno Rodeo Association recently presented nearly $93,000 to 10 community organizations thanks to proceeds from the 50/50 raffle at the 2023 Reno Rodeo.

“This year’s Reno Rodeo delivered a ‘bucking good time’ that won’t soon be forgotten,” said 2023 Reno Rodeo President Greg “Lightning” Williams. “Our community’s support in raising funds for these incredible organizations is a testament to our shared commitment to upholding the legacies and traditions of the Western way of life.”

The following organizations received checks from the Reno Rodeo Association:

●     $6,143.64 to Washoe County 4-H
●     $8,329.41 to Nevada Military Support Alliance
●     $6,947.14 to Center for Adaptive Riding
●     $11,961.24 to Eddy House
●     $3,968.74 to Children’s Cabinet
●     $15,300.00 to Man Up Crusade/Domestic Violence Resource Center
●     $5,817.04 to RAVE
●     $8,309.74 to Truckee Meadows Fire Department
●     $11,467.81 to Moms on the Run
●     $14,577.24 to LEAD with Horses

50/50 raffle tickets are sold each night at the Reno Rodeo. Half of the proceeds go to the person with the winning number at the end of each night, and the other half goes to a designated charity. Charities are chosen based on community impact, level of need and commitment to furthering rodeo culture.
