Start your Saturday rodeo experience the right way by diving headfirst into the high-energy excitement of Reno Rodeo Tailgating Saturdays! The party kicks off early and keeps the good times rolling with can’t-miss events that bring out your competitive spirit and your love for all things rodeo.

On the first Saturday, June 20, grab your partner and step up to our annual Cornhole Tournament, where you can toss your way to glory and win a custom Reno Rodeo Cornhole Championship belt buckle. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just playing for fun, with both amateur and pro divisions, everyone’s got a shot at claiming bragging rights.

New this year, test your grit in the Wrangler Round-Up Relay—a fast-paced, timed obstacle course designed to see if you’ve got what it takes to be a true rodeo wrangler. Jump in for the thrill or cheer from the sidelines as competitors race for the fastest time and a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Reno Rodeo Finals. Registration happens on-site (cash only), and participants must be 18 or older and ready to sign a release.

Then, on the final Saturday, June 27, the spotlight turns to the dance floor! Show off your moves or root for your favorites during our lively Line Dancing Competition, featuring both swing and line dancing categories. With custom Reno Rodeo Line Dancing belt buckles up for grabs, the stakes are high, and the energy is even higher.
