JJ Harrison

JJ Harrison is returning to the Reno Rodeo arena in 2024!

JJ began his rodeo career in high school and took his passion to Washington State University where he joined the rodeo team as a bull and bronc rider and eventually migrated to team roping.  Following college, JJ taught middle school science and social studies for eight years but eventually chose a career in rodeo as a bullfighter and a barrel man.  Though his love for the rodeo surpassed his passion for teaching, Harrison believes that his time in the classroom has influenced his witty and energetic act as a rodeo clown.

JJ was the 2012 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Clown and a five-time Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo Clown.

Rodeo fans – look forward to a fun night with JJ in the arena!
