RENO, Nev. (June 23, 2025) — The “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West” is still going strong. After a thrilling opening week, the Reno Rodeo charges into its final days with even more excitement on deck — from elite rodeo competition to new Western-themed events and entertainment for the whole family.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)-sanctioned event, running June 19–28, kicks off the annual tradition of 100 Rodeos in 100 Days. With 10 electrifying nights of competition, the Reno Rodeo is one of the crown jewels of the ProRodeo Tour. Beyond the arena, attendees can enjoy a full carnival, the Silver Spurs Mercantile, live music, themed nights, daytime events (many of them free), a variety of food options, and the ever-popular Jack Tent.

Theme Nights
Join in the fun by dressing to match each night’s theme:

  • Jack Daniels Night – Monday, June 23 (wear black)
  • Man Up Crusade Night – Tuesday, June 24 (wear purple to raise awareness for domestic violence prevention)
  • Nevada Wolf Pack Night – Wednesday, June 25 (wear silver and blue to support the Pack)
  • Coors Night – Thursday, June 26 (wear tan)
  • Breast Cancer Awareness Night – Friday, June 27 (wear pink in support)
  • PRCA Championship Performance – Saturday, June 28

Reno Nevada Shuffle – June 23–25
New this year, the Reno Nevada Shuffle is a fun and unpredictable twist on traditional team roping, designed to test the versatility and adaptability of all competitors. Each contestant draws for a new partner every round, leveling the playing field and keeping the action fresh and fast. It’s an exciting way to start the week in the Indoor Arena. Admission is free for spectators. Roping begins at 8 a.m. each day.

Reno Roundup Ranch Sorting – June 26–28
Head to the Indoor Arena for fast-paced ranch sorting action, where horse-and-rider duos work together to sort cattle in numerical order under a ticking clock. This high-energy competition showcases communication, strategy, and precision teamwork. Starting at 7:30 a.m. each day. Free admission.

Rodeo Live Broadcast – Saturday, June 28
Don’t miss “Rodeo Live”, a special live broadcast taking place Saturday, June 28, from the Reno Rodeo arena floor. Hosted by Janie Johnson and Sierra Spratt alongside rodeo legends Luke Branquinho and Leighton Berry, the show offers fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access, interviews with athletes, sponsor spotlights, and an up-close look at the magic of the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West.” Whether tuning in from home or catching clips online, “Rodeo Live” brings the heart of the Reno Rodeo straight to your screen. Fans can watch the broadcast live from the grounds starting at 6 p.m.

Nightly Viewing Party
Catch every second of rodeo action on the big screen inside the Reno Livestock Events Center Indoor Arena, open nightly from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Admission is included with the $10 grounds fee. The party includes live commentary, concessions, DJ beats, and shopping at Silver Spurs Mercantile.

Doc Bar Speakeasy
The Doc Bar Speakeasy provides a stylish, vintage-inspired alternative to the Jack Tent. Located above the Indoor Arena, this exclusive space blends Wild West character with 1920s speakeasy flair. Open nightly during the Reno Rodeo, the Doc Bar offers lounge-style seating with floor-to-ceiling views of the Nightly Viewing Party, appetizers, two drink tickets, a limited-edition Reno Rodeo Doc Bar whiskey glass, an exclusive lapel pin, a no-host bar and private restrooms. Reserved tables and parking passes are available for groups of 8 or 10.

Silver Spurs Mercantile
The shopping experience Reno Rodeo fans know and love has gotten an upgrade. The all-new Silver Spurs Mercantile, located inside the Indoor Arena, brings a refreshed look and feel to this longtime favorite. Featuring more than 100 vendors, the Mercantile offers a dynamic mix of handmade leather goods, cowboy hats, boutique fashion, western art, home décor and unique gifts. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., through June 28, this enhanced marketplace is the ultimate destination for one-of-a-kind treasures, outfit upgrades and Western flair. With new vendors added each year, the Silver Spurs Mercantile continues to evolve, offering something fresh and exciting for shoppers of every style.

Carnival
Open from 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends, the Reno Rodeo Carnival brings classic fair thrills and over-the-top treats. Grab your fill of corn dogs, funnel cakes, barbecue, and the fan-favorite Kick-Ass Fries — hand-cut fries topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and barbecue sauce.
