Visiting Royalty
Visiting Royalty at Reno Rodeo is a long-standing tradition, and we are looking forward to helping make the experience special for each queen. Beyond the rodeo performances, there are many events taking place on the grounds, and we are excited to share the full Reno Rodeo experience with you.
We ask that you complete the application and WAIT FOR APPROVAL BEFORE MAKING ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. Please see the information below for more details.
There are 3 different session dates available for visiting royalty. Visiting royalty are only to attend one session. Please be sure to indicate your 1st and 2nd choice of session dates that you’d like to attend.
There are 10 spots for visiting royalty available during each session.
VISITING ROYALTY APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 25, 2025. Please read details below and find the application link at the bottom of the page.
STATE QUEENS – State queen requests for specific sessions will be considered before all other visiting royalty requests.
State Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of the 3 sessions. (Please indicate if you will not attend all 3 days). Discounted hotel rooms will be available with a maximum of 4 people per room (2 queen beds). Please indicate in your application if you’d like a discounted hotel room.
State queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. There will be transportation to any excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session.

PRCA RODEO QUEENS (18 and Older)
PRCA Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo for any one of our 3 sessions. (Please indicate if you will not attend all 3 days). Discounted hotel rooms will be available with a maximum of 4 people per room (2 queen beds). PRCA Rodeo Queens are responsible for their own transportation in getting to Reno, while in Reno, and home from Reno. If there is space available, PRCA Rodeo Queens are welcome to attend excursions and/or activities that are offered for visiting queens during each session.
Please understand that State Queen Title holders’ requests may be considered before PRCA Rodeo Title holders’ requests.

OTHER RODEO QUEENS (18 and Older)
Other Rodeo Queens that represent a recognized rodeo association are welcome to attend the Reno Rodeo anytime during the 10-day event with an approved application and agreed upon dates (max of 1 day).

UNDER 18 QUEENS AND PRINCESSES
Princesses and Rodeo Queens under the age of 18 are welcome to attend as spectators to the Reno Rodeo. Tickets can be purchased tickets through RenoRodeo.com. We would love for you to join us for the post-performance autograph party. If you are interested attending the autograph party, please contact Amy Callahan at (775) 772-4722 to make arrangements.
AVAILABLE 2025 SESSIONS FOR STATE and PRCA TITLE HOLDERS:
We are offering 3 sessions. To make the date selections easier on both you and our committee, please indicate your 1st and 2nd session choice when completing your application.
SESSION 1: Friday, June 20 – Sunday, June 22, 2025
Obligations: Attend dinner prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance, help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance, post-performance autograph session in the arena, help with Rodeo 101 Kids’ Camp (Sat, June 21), help with Kids’ Day and Special Kids Rodeo (Sun, June 22)
*State Title Holders may be invited to the Reno Rodeo Winner’s Circle to interview go-round winners from each event, each evening, to be broadcast on the Reno Rodeo Facebook Live.
*State Title Holders may be invited to help create social media content for advertising upcoming Reno Rodeo events and fun facts to be broadcast on the Reno Rodeo Facebook Live.
Optional Activities/Excursions:
- Friday: If early arrival, you can drive to Lake Tahoe, shop the many vendors at the rodeo grounds, watch the Mounted Drill Team competition on grounds
- Saturday: Possible free time after Rodeo 101
- Sunday: Cowboy Church before Kids’ Day/Special Kids Rodeo

SESSION 2: Monday, June 23 – Wednesday, June 25, 2025
Obligations: Attend Dinner Meal prior to the Reno Rodeo Performance, Help with Mutton Bustin’ during performance, Post-Performance Autograph Session in the Arena,
*State Title Holders may be invited to the Reno Rodeo Winner’s Circle to interview go-round winners from each event each evening to be broadcast on the Reno Rodeo Facebook Live.
*State Title Holders may be invited to help create social media content advertising daily and upcoming Reno Rodeo events and fun facts to be broadcast on the Reno Rodeo Facebook Live.
Tentative Activities/Excursions:
- Monday: If early arrival, you can drive to Lake Tahoe, shop the many vendors at the rodeo grounds, attend slack, watch indoor arena events
- Tuesday: State Queen Excursion to Virginia City. (More Details of Excursion to follow)
- Wednesday: Activity in Reno – more details to follow
