RENO, Nev. (June 10, 2024) — The “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West” returns to Reno for its 105th year from June 20–29, but the action isn’t confined to the rodeo arena. This year’s Reno Rodeo offers a wealth of activities and attractions for all ages, ensuring that every visitor finds something to enjoy. Carnival Fun for All Ages | June 19–29
The Reno Rodeo Carnival is an adrenaline seeker’s paradise. Open weekdays from 4 p.m. to close and weekends from 12 p.m. to close, the carnival features a variety of games and exhilarating rides. Advance wristbands are available for $32, or $40 on the day, with individual ride tickets priced at $6. Special deals include “Family Day” on Monday, June 24 and “Buddy Day” on Wednesday, June 26.

Enjoy classic carnival fare like corn dogs and funnel cakes, alongside mouthwatering barbeque and the famous Kick-Ass fries—hand-cut fries topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions and barbecue sauce.

Double R Marketplace: A Shopper’s Paradise | June 20–29
Open daily from June 20–29, the Double R Marketplace invites you to “The Biggest Little Shopping Adventure in the West.” With over 100 vendors, this marketplace is a haven for those seeking Western lifestyle products, from attire to home décor and tasty treats. Extended hours accommodate the nightly viewing parties, allowing attendees to shop late and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Butter Bull Sculpture | June 20–29
Witness the unveiling of the butter bull, a Reno Rodeo twist on a classic tradition, crafted by renowned artist Sarah Pratt. Using over 800 pounds of butter, Pratt’s sculpture will be on display at the Double R Marketplace throughout the rodeo. This unique attraction pays homage to Nevada’s dairy farmers and offers a visual treat for all visitors.

Coors Double R Bar and Jack Daniel’s Tent | June 19–29
Unwind with cold drinks and country music at the Coors Double R Bar, located on the south end of the food court. For those looking to dance the night away, the Jack Daniel’s Tent offers a full bar and plenty of room to do-si-do. Both venues are open to guests 21 and older from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Championship Drill Team Competition | June 20–21
Marvel at the poise, music and equestrian skill during the championship drill team competition on June 20–21. Ten teams will showcase their best synchronized horseback riding routines, judged on execution, originality and crowd appeal. The competition kicks off at 8 a.m. each day in the Reno Livestock Events Center Indoor Arena and is free to the public.

Cornhole Tournament | Saturday, June 22
Join the Reno Rodeo on June 22 for a cornhole tournament at the Reno Livestock Events Center Indoor Arena. The entry fee is $100, with prizes including a Montana Silversmith buckle and Reno Rodeo-branded cornhole boards.

Kids’ Day: A Family Affair | Sunday, June 23
Join us for Kids’ Day on June 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring a plethora of kid-friendly activities. This free event includes games, art, square dancing, face painting, horseback rides, the 8th Annual Mutton Bustin’ Championship and much more. Through interactive vendors and live displays, children will learn about the Western lifestyle, agriculture and safety.
