WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Whether you’re attending your first Reno Rodeo or you’re a longtime fan, a little planning can help you make the most of your time at the Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West. Before heading to the Reno Livestock Events Center, check out these insider tips from Reno Rodeo.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The Reno Rodeo experience extends far beyond the arena. In addition to world-class rodeo action each night, guests can enjoy carnival rides, live entertainment, shopping, great food and special events happening throughout the 10-day celebration.
From mutton bustin’ and wild horse races to specialty performances, community events and family-friendly activities, there’s always something happening on the grounds.
Be sure to check the full event schedule before your visit so you don’t miss any of the excitement. With so much to see and do, many guests find that one trip simply isn’t enough to experience it all.
DAILY TICKET RELEASES
If your preferred performance shows sold out, there’s still a chance to get seats. A limited number of tickets may be released daily through the Reno Rodeo Box Office around 10 a.m. and again at 5 p.m.
Availability varies by performance and is not guaranteed, but it’s worth checking before making other plans.
NIGHTLY VIEWING PARTY
You don’t need a rodeo ticket to experience the excitement. The Nightly Viewing Party allows fans to watch the rodeo live on a giant screen while enjoying food, drinks and the electric atmosphere of rodeo week.
Admission is included with the $10 grounds fee, making it a great option for those who missed out on performance tickets.
DOC BAR SPEAKEASY
Looking for a place to cool off, grab a drink and catch up with friends? Be sure to visit the Doc Bar, Reno Rodeo’s hidden speakeasy-inspired experience tucked away on the grounds.
The Doc Bar offers a unique atmosphere where guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, beer, wine and live entertainment throughout rodeo week. Whether you’re taking a break from the carnival, meeting up before the performance or winding down after the action ends, the Doc Bar is one of the grounds’ best-kept secrets.
